iPad 3 leaked!!
CES is where every electronics manufacturer under the sun tries to get your attention with the latest and greatest products in their kitty. One big exception to that, though, is Apple. According to a report, iPad 3 was spotted at CES 2012.
How would an unseen iPad end up at CES? The tablet wasn’t exactly making the rounds at the convention center. In a private meeting with an inside source, iLounge's editor Jeremy Horowitz allegedly saw the iPad 3′s chassis the day before CES began. Horowitz is famous for his Apple leaks, and had done a similar thing with the iPad 2′s external casing during the last year end that turned out to be exact.
iPad 3 will likely be having an improvement in the display and the camera. In this encounter, the iPad obviously couldn’t be powered on, and it looked like iPad 2 if external design was to be considered. It was slightly thicker "by about 1mm" but the difference would hardly be unnoticed by most people. It's difficult to comment on any other specifications. Going by the external design alone, Horowitz said that it could just as easily be called iPad 2S or iPad 2 HD.
Display is being considered as the biggest upgrade in the Retina iPad 3. We can't expect revolutionary new external design as Apple is packing expensive and power-consuming high-res displays in its next tablet and Apple likes to keep its iOS products in the same price range every year. Previous leaks have attributed the supposed extra thickness in the iPad 3 to twin LED light bars that Apple is using to help support that Retina display.
You can expect to hear many more iPad 3 leaks and rumors for the next couple of months, but this is one that we’d say is more likely to be accurate than most.
Happy reading.....
